150mm PVC tank overflow fitting for smooth wall tanks. Provides female socket suitable for connection to 150mm PVC SW pipe.
Fix to smooth wall tank using stainless steel screws or suitable roofing screws + roof & gutter silicon.
Connected pipework should be supported to prevent undue weight bearing on the overflow fitting.
Please be aware large overflow fittings with large flanges do reduce the effective capacity of the tank once installed.
Not all tanks are suitable for 150mm overflows - please ensure there is sufficient smooth wall available for the fitting and flange to rest against the tank wall.
Due to its size this overflow fitting is generally not suitable for installation on a curved tank wall with curve diameter less than 800mm.
Overflow fittings should be installed at the top of the tank wall only; they are not pressure rated and generally not suitable for low level tank outlets due to the additional water pressure and greater expansion and contraction of the tank wall.
