90mm PVC tank overflow fitting for steel corrugated tanks. Provides spigot suitable for connection to 90mm PVC SW socket fitting such as an elbow. The flange is flat across the top to allow the fitting to fit snug immediatley below the tank roof to maximise the effective tank capacity.
Fix to steel tank using suitable roofing screws + roof & gutter silicon.
Ensure all cut edges of the steel tank wall are completely coated with silicon to prevent rusting. Ensure all steel pieces, swarf and filings are vacuumned and/or washed from the tank to prevent rusting.
Connected pipework should be supported to prevent undue weight bearing on the overflow fitting.
Aquip steel tanks have overflow fittings professionally installed to the customers' requirements at the factory prior to delivery. Tank warranty does not cover any issues that may arise as a result of a fitting being installed by others.
The corrugation profile of this fitting is designed to suit ColorBond Aquaplate steel corrugations, and usually does not suit the corrugation profile of other materials such as polyethylene corrugated wall tanks.
Overflow fittings should be installed at the top of the tank wall only; they are not pressure rated and generally not suitable for low level tank outlets due to the additional water pressure and greater expansion and contraction of the tank wall.
