180mm-600mm high telescopic underground tank turret/riser extension. Suitable for Aquip HS and FW series poly underground tanks.
Telescopic design allows the installer to set the extension height precisely, and the two-piece design allows the angle of the access lid to be adjusted to suit ground level incline up to 10 degrees.
Lower section of the riser can be cut down as required to achieve the correct height.
Maximum extension height is 600mm. Minimum extension height is 180mm, this is achieved by discarding the lower part of the riser and using only the upper part.
Extension riser provides a clear opening of approx. 580mm, and has a wide flange at the top to facilitate securing access lid to the riser. Flange overall diameter 720mm.
Robust polyethylene material can be cut, drilled and screwed into, allows pipes and conduits to be connected to tank near ground level.
Riser extension is essential if using Aquip HS or FW series tanks under a driveway (or any other trafficable surface) in order to achieve the minimum requirement of 700mm earth cover above the body of the tank.
Please note if adding more than 1200mm additional earth cover on a concrete tank an engineered slab may be required to prevent undue weight bearing on the tank. An engineer should be consulted.
